I’ve reached the point that all people going through a remodel reach…
The breaking point. I’m done. I want my house back.
I’m stressed that we’ve made bad decisions…Will I like the cabinets? Do I like that tile? What if I hate the flooring? What if I don’t like the paint colors? At this point, I don’t think I’m going to like any of it. (more…)

This week I focused on picking storage for our new laundry room…
but I have no idea how the room is going to function in the new layout!
I spent the past week trying to decide on what storage to put in our laundry room. The room is getting a layout change; the entry to the room moved from the kitchen to our back hallway and the washer and dryer will now be on the same side of the room. (more…)

There are lots of reasons projects don’t get done in my house. Most of the time it’s due to the two crazy boys in my home, but sometimes I can’t blame them. Sometimes it’s completely my fault. I’ll think the project will take ten, very complicated steps; in reality, it will take two simple steps to get the same result. (more…)

A couple months ago, our playroom was driving J and I a little crazy. It just didn’t look like we wanted it to – everything felt like it was gathering in one area of the room. Another issue was there wasn’t a clear home for the toys. If there was free space, any toy could go there. It felt like I had to decide where to put things each time we picked-up the room. Yuck.
